Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Talent Development
Manager to join our global talent team. As an individual
contributor, you will drive change to foster the growth and
advancement of our associates and leaders, aligning their career
and leadership development with our Long-term Strategic Plan
(LTSP). Passionate about development, you will build strong
relationships with HR and business leaders to understand needs,
identify talent challenges, and recommend innovative global
learning experiences. These efforts will support leadership growth,
strengthen our leadership pipeline, and propel organizational
success. You will establish credibility through your deep knowledge
of the business and talent management, leveraging your influencing
abilities effectively. With a profound understanding of our talent
at Capital, you will ensure our development strategies make a
significant organizational impact. You are willing to work beyond
your immediate projects to operate with a holistic, 'one-CG'
mindset. This role reports to the Head of Leadership Development &
Global Talent Development Practices.Deadline to apply:
1/31/2025.Primary responsibilities/essential functions:
- Strategically and tactically deliver leadership learning
experiences, programs, and resources to support manager and
associate development, ensuring alignment with organizational
goals, with a focus on program and process management.
- Develop and implement rigorous measurement systems to ensure
high-quality leadership programs at all stages (pre-, during, and
post-program), continuously enhancing them based on data, feedback,
and analysis.
- Act as the primary partner for HR business partners,
proactively communicating program updates (overviews, schedules,
progress, etc.).
- Utilize expertise, business acumen, internal and external
networks, and thorough research to proactively identify and
recommend innovative development solutions and best practices.
- Manage vendors, maintain program costs and help guide the work
of our TD associates.
- Support other leadership development priorities as
requested.Skills/qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in curriculum/program design, program
management, and implementing large-scale leadership development
programs.
- Previous people leadership experience a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of adult learning, leadership, and talent
development best practices.
- Expert in developing and presenting compelling business cases
and creating impactful PowerPoint presentation materials tailored
for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to conceptualize ideas, generate support, and
develop detailed project plans. Highly organized and proactive,
driving initiatives from concept to successful implementation with
efficiency and attention to detail.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, communication, event
coordination/planning, and coaching skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of Workday capabilities
(reporting/dashboards, learning administration) to turn data into
meaningful business insights.
- Exceptional ability to inspire high standards, collaborate
effectively with team members and stakeholders, and direct the work
of indirect reports.
- Experience with global talent management processes (performance
management, talent review/succession planning) is highly
beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's in Human Resources
Management preferred.Southern California Base Salary Range:
$136,858-$218,973In addition to a highly competitive base salary,
per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you
also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus,
plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan
where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.You can
