Job Description:
A company is looking for an Inpatient Coder with trauma
experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately assign ICD-10-CM/PCS codes for inpatient trauma
cases
Ensure compliance with coding standards, regulations, and payer
guidelines
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to clarify
documentation
Qualifications:
Valid AHIMA certification (RHIA, RHIT, or CCS)
2-3 years of inpatient coding experience, with trauma coding
expertise
Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding and trauma procedures
Proficient in coding software and Electronic Health Records
(EHR)
