**As a Senior Software Engineer, Platform at Liftoff, you will:** * Implement new features and streamlining existing services.* Improve the core development, product release and its business.* Design, engineer & implement highly-available, fault-tolerant, distributed systems enhancing our real-time bidding system.* Minimize complexity and increasing shared understanding.* Work with various product management, development and quality assurance groups in a fast-paced environment.* Focus on code readability, performance, testing, documentation, continuous integration.* PagerDuty on-call rotation.* Take ownership and work with various product management, development and quality assurance groups in a fast-paced environment.* Become familiar with core development, product release and its business.* Minimize complexity and increase shared understanding.* Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report to 1950 Sawtelle Boulevard, Ste 145, Los Angeles, CA 90025.* Salary: $176,134 to $210,000 per year. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or any occupation/position/job title involving software programming. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or any occupation/position/job title involving software programming.Must also have experience in the following: 3 years of professional experience performing software programming using Golang, Java, OR Python; 2 years of professional experience designing and implementing high scalable and distributed systems; 2 years of professional experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and message queuing (MQ) technologies; 2 years of professional experience working within a highly agile and iterative software development process; and 2 years of professional experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.Please apply online at: #LI-DNI We use Covey as part of our hiring and / or promotional process for jobs in NYC and certain features may qualify it as an AEDT.
