Job Family:Patient Access GeneralTravel Required:Up to 10%Clearance Required:NoneWhat You Will Do:The Patient Access Supervisor is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Patient Access Departments. This includes activities in scheduling, pre-admission, pre-registration, admission, registration & Quality Assurance. This position will work closely with the Supervisors of the Emergency -Room to apply new and emerging approaches to our business processes. This position will perform any and all job related duties as assigned. This is a full-time position and is 100% onsite at MLK Hospital.Essential Job Functions:--- Human Resource Leadership--- Customer Service/Continuous Improvement--- Revenue Cycle Consulting/Management--- Professional Development--- Department Development -Schedule: Swing shift, Monday-Friday, from 3:00PM-11:30PM, with rotating on-call every 3 weeks from Monday to Monday. -What You Will Need: - - - - - - -High School diploma OR equivalent (GED), and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience. - - - - - - -Demonstrated competency in working in teams and ability to effectively communicate with all levels. - - - - - - -Demonstrated leadership in creating and implementing new processes. - - - - - - -Current BLS certification with American Heart Association OR ability to obtain within 90 days post hire.What Would Be Nice To Have:Two years hospital management experience in revenue cycle functions, preferred.The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00-$108,000.00.
