Job Description:
A company is looking for a Clinical Reviewer, Speech Therapy (19
hours/week).
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate cases that do not pass the authorization approval process
and promote a supportive team approach
Review charts and analyze clinical record documentation to approve
services that meet clinical review criteria
Conduct regular audits to ensure guidelines are applied
appropriately and document all communications with medical office
staff
Required Qualifications and Education
Current, unrestricted state licensure as a Speech Therapist
Degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited program and national
certification examination completion
5+ years of clinical experience preferred
No history of disciplinary or legal action by a state medical
board
Not under current exclusion or sanction by any state or federal
health care program
