Resources. The hotel recently completed a transformational
renovation and is being relaunched as the premier luxury lifestyle

application.The Director of Human Resources is charged with
cultivating top-notch talent in an engaging atmosphere that

potential.ResponsibilitiesQUALIFICATIONS:Are you ready for the next

position for someone who is flexible, intuitive, has great
judgement and takes initiative. Our ideal candidate will have
experience managing Human Resources in a hotel as well as
experience that involved interacting with a full range of employees
(hourly to leaders).The minimum qualifications for this position
are:
- A minimum of five years' experience within human resources,
preferably in a generalist role
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and
group situations
- Ability to consistently display courtesy, etiquette, warmth and
enthusiasm on the phone and in person
- Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities in a
professional manner
- Ability to objectively coach employees and management through
complex, difficult and emotional issues
- Must possess strong communication and listening skills,
excellent speaking, reading and writing skills
- Ability to handle complex issues encountered using knowledge
acquired through training and experience
- Demonstrated ability to gain the trust and confidence of
managers and employees and influence the organization
- Ability to diagnose organizational issues and implement
creative solutions
- Analytical skills with demonstrated ability to translate data
to insight and then into action
- Ability to research and analyze various different types of data
information
- Strong computer skills including intermediate or above
knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Multiple language abilities preferred. Fluency in English
required and Spanish desiredRESPONSIBILITIES:Inspiring culture is
one of the most critical roles for this position. In addition, this
position will require a large emphasis on creating strategies to

preeminent lifestyle/boutique destination in Santa Monica. At a
broad stroke, responsibilities fall into four key areas: culture,

- Participate in the planning and promotion of associate

- Serve the team as a concierge function

- Providing learning and development opportunities
- Ensuring positive coaching opportunities to motivate, recognize
and correct unwanted behaviorStarting with the way we attract and
hire talent; this role will engage in the following tactics to
acquire top-talent in the market:

- Creative sourcing utilizing social media
- Work with leaders on interview and selection
skills/processes
- Train and support leaders with recruiting and hiring tools and
processes; including use of talent assessmentsThis role will
collaborate with leadership to assist managers in creating an
understanding of business compliance, which affects associates'
ability to excel in performing their duties to include:
- Serving as the first point of contact for routine associate
inquiries
- Communicating and coordinating HR programs such as performance
review process, team member opinion surveys, and open enrollment
with Operations leaders to ensure first-class experience for team
members
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state and local ordinances as
required
- Performing general administrative tasks for the HR
