Job Description:

Scheduled Days & Hours: Monday-Friday, occasional weekends as needed

Job Duties:

  • Maintains detailed sales and administrative records of current and prospective customers. - - - -
  • Provides dairy products distribution service information and processes special product handling requests through routine and random contacts with existing accounts. - - - -
  • Maintains current dairy products pricing guidelines and product code listings. - - - -
  • Submits a written draft of all customer contracts to the Sales Manager for approval. - - - -
  • Interacts and coordinates with wholesale route manager relative to customer service requirements. - - - -
  • Writes timely action reports concerning problem areas relative to product, product packaging, shelf life, quality control procedures and matters regarding customer service and relations. - - - -
  • Collects Accounts Receivable money from customers on past due accounts, completes cash deposit paperwork for deposit of funds. - - - -
  • Recommends customers for credit or cash only status. - - - -
  • Submits daily and weekly trip contact reports on customer sales and service activities to the Sales Manager as directed. - - - -
  • May need to stock, rotate and merchandise products at specific customer locations. - - - -
  • Makes harmonious customer relations with existing and potential customers, co-workers and the general public a priority. - - - -
  • Operates a motor vehicle to and from customer locations. - - - -
  • Work grassroots events to promote Hollandia Dairy including weekends as needed. - - - -
  • Train and become the permanent backup for placing Walmart orders. - - - -
  • Manage and direct two retail merchandisers. - - - -
  • Train and become the permanent backup person for placing the orders for DeCA commissaries. - - - -
  • Other duties as assigned.Requirements: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. College degree plus 1-5 years related experience, people and project management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Have demonstrable experience in project management. Have a safe driving record.

    Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands or arms; walk, or balance; specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to focus; drive a class C vehicle.
