.ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary: Responsibilities: Essential
Duties
- Responsible for the understanding and application of supply
chain management concepts in a global business environment.
- Supervises activities of scheduling staff; facilitates the
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process; effectively
balances supply and demand as specified by S&OP; oversees the
creation and maintenance of a valid Master Production Schedule
(MPS) and manage delivery and inventory Key Performance Indicators:
KPI include customer service levels, production schedule
attainment, and inventory range of coverage; perform root cause
analysis for variances and propose corrective actions.
- Manages activities of Schedulers and Detailed Schedulers
including: ensuring execution of job responsibilities, day-to-day
coaching, employee development, annual performance reviews and
disciplinary actions.
- Understands demand management and forecasting, strategic
sourcing and purchasing; Understands business and supply chain
strategy.
- Collaborates with R&D and Engineering to properly reflect
changing project timelines into the MPS to drive appropriate MRP
requirements.
- Continuously pursues optimization of ERP system utilization.
Monitors operational KPI's and identifies root cause of variations,
particularly for delivery and inventory KPIs. The job function

performance requirements are met.
- Judgement is required in resolving complex problems based on
experience.
- Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads,
subordinates, and peers. Frequent contact with external
contractors/vendors. The targeted range for this role takes into
account a range of factors that are considered when making
compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to:
skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications;
and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range
estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic
differential associated with the location at which the position may
be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and
circumstances of each case. The range provided is a reasonable

- Bachelor's degree required.
- 06-08 years related experience required.
- Applicable industry/professional certification required.
- Regular and predictable attendance While performing the duties
