About the Company:The company provides construction management to both the public and private sector specializing in public transit projects. They specialize in the oversight of General Contractors and Subcontractors and have been delivering complex projects with an emphasis on quality and safety while at the same time meeting budget and schedule goals.About the Position:Seeking a Quality Engineer to implement and oversee the Quality Management Process.Responsibilities:

• Review, approve, and oversee Contractors' QMP and QA/QC procedures.
• Conduct regular quality meetings to address quality issues with Contractors.
• Conduct quality audits of Contractors' QMP.
• Resolve non-conformances raised by Quality Department.
• Oversee the NCR process and ensure timely resolution of NCR's.
• Verify implementation of corrective action to correct quality assurance/control deficiencies.
• Diagnose quality assurance/control system problems and correct or recommend appropriate action.
• Conduct quality surveillance of specific quality related activities.
• Prepare quality assurance/control reports and correspondence.Requirements:
• Approximately 15 years of experience in quality assurance/control with at least 5 years of supervisory or managerial level experience in quality, risk, construction, project management or related field.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Professional Engineer registration is required. California PE desirable.
• Certification as a Quality Engineer from the American Society of Quality is preferred.
