What is JetZero?Today's aircraft contribute around 2.5% of
global CO2 emissions, equivalent to the emissions of 200 million
cars. This is only going to increase: Air travel is forecasted to
double by 2050, while meaningful efficiency gains using current
airplanes have hit a wall.JetZero is developing a blended wing
aircraft. It uses 50% less fuel and can accommodate zero-emission
hydrogen propulsion. JetZero is the inevitable solution to

Engineer. You will be responsible for the design and architecting
of the avionics and electrical systems for the systems integration
labs.JetZero is a place for people who are ambitious, talented, and
humble. This role is based in Long Beach, CA reporting to the Head
of Electrical Systems.What You'll Do
- Verify the design of the avionics architecture and electrical
power distribution system.
- Design and build test methodologies for avionics and electrical
power systems.
- Utilize simulation and lab facilities to test aircraft
systems.
- Work directly with SMEs and suppliers to test and verify
aircraft system architecture.
- Assist in designing lab facilities.
- Consult extensively by associates and others as a recognized
authority within the field.
- Anticipate and resolve complex issues in creative and effective
ways, developing standards and guides for diverse engineering
activities.
- Approach problem solving balancing technical product, cost, and
schedule.
- Work without appreciable direction; work is reviewed from a
long-range perspective for desired results.
- Select appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria
to resolve complex engineering issues.
- Exercise latitude in determining technical objectives of
assignments and make decisions and recommendations that are

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a
technical related curriculum applicable to the respective job
position required.
- 5 years in aircraft avionics and electrical power systems.
- Experience credit considered for related advanced degrees
limited to 2 years for Masters and 4 years for PhD in fields
applicable to this job.
- Avionics and/or Electronic Systems development and integration
experience is required.
- Experience with A429, A664, A717, CANBUS, LVDT/RVDT, analog to
digital conversions required.
- Experience with the FAA (14 CFR Part 25) or EASA (CS-25)
certification is preferred.
- System integration lab and/or aircraft functional testing and
troubleshooting experience is preferred.
- Experience with requirements management tools is
preferred.
- Ability to work onsite in Long Beach, CA.The Benefits
