Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director - North American Tax.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee compliance calendar for U.S. Federal, State, and Local tax
requirements
Manage State and Local sales and use tax nexus studies and
compliance strategy
Coordinate Federal and State Tax Audits and manage controversy
processes
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Tax related discipline; advanced
degree preferred
10+ years of broad-based tax experience, including 5 years at a Big
4 public accounting firm
Experience in compliance, controversy resolution, and financial
reporting under U.S. GAAP
Deep knowledge of ASC740 and FIN48 is highly desirable
Effective project management skills for overseeing simultaneous tax
projects
